First, a look back

Here are some pictures from December. We started the month in beautiful California, where Jacob loved playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He got to hammer nails with Carter and Grandpa, cut paper for Grandma, play with Grandpa's old Dinky cars (over 50 years old and still fascinating!), play piano, dance, and even spend time with his Great Grandma Wilcox who showed him how to draw circles. And of course play trains and such with his cousins, the Bradfords. Christmastime will forever be linked with the memory of trains circling our Christmas tree. I grew up with my Dads old Lionel trains that he'd bring out only once a year. They keep up the tradition, but with young ones like mine, they switched for Brio at least while we were in town! (When I took the picture they hadn't yet got their tree which usually occupies the space where Colby is sitting!) Halfway through the month we traveled to Richland, Washington to spend time with Aarons family. The boys had fun helping Aaron rake leaves--or at least had a fun time playing in them! Ever the explorer, Jacob even found his way into Boston's "Taxi". I think we need one of those here at our house!
