Pioneer day!

I tried to make a covered wagon like my mom did (or dad?! I really don't know) for a pioneer day back when we were kids. I threw it together in 20 minutes, but I could have done better if I'd given myself more time. Still, Jacob and Sam liked riding in it so thats all that matters!

Now:A friend asked me to be in charge of the game for our ward--tossing clothespins into canning jars and getting a pickle as a prize. We are not big pickle eaters so I couldn't imagine the response. We had so many kids returning for more pickles!

Jacob gave it a shot too, but no pickle for him! Aaron took the boys around to make button necklaces, pound nails, decorate neckerchiefs, and do hula hoops. ??What?? Thats not a pioneer game! Afterwards we went on a Trek across the mountains, but really just around the parking lot.
