We definetly have the cutest grandkids in the world. Thanks for taking the time to keep us updated, especially the new pics of Adelay. Babies change so quickly at this age. It seems like she's grown up so much just since our vacation in August. Love you all!
gosh Rebecca you are quite the creative and "green" seamstress! I am so impressed! You will have to help me when i get a sewing machine someday! I have the cutest nieces and nephews!
Sam: "Mom I just made a rhyme! Its this, "Let's go, ho!"
Sam: "I'm not going to church here! I only want to go in Texas. The true church is in Texas... (much later while discussing the same topic)...I hope this is just a dream."
Sam: "Girls like boys, and boys like girls, but I'm not going to marry anybody!"
Sam (to Adelay, who had walked in front of him): "I want to watch TV! Don't come in here again unless you're going to sit down and watch TV like a sponge potato!"
Jacob: "Mom! Sam says I knocked over his tower with my magic, but I don't even have magic." Mom: "Sam, you're the only one in the family with magic."
Sam (while snuggling at bedtime): "When I wrap my arms around you or Mom it means I love you."
Dad: "I love you guys. I'm sad I've had to work so much." Sam: "I'm sad you're old."
Sam: "My magic did it again!" (the house was clean in the morning when he woke up)
Sam: "I want some more of the spicy tootsie roll!" (churro at Costco)
Sam: "I want to get a drink now! I have a tummach-ache!" (during Sacrament Meeting)
Jacob: "I don't like them tucked in because it stiffs me." (white shirts for church)
Jacob: "Sometimes when you wake up and you're still sleepy your eyes are real blurry."
Sam: "We are the Noah's (Know-uh's). We know what thing to do."
Sam: "The old days are my favorite and these are the old days" (pointing to pictures from Iowa)
Jacob: "Sometimes we had to be the grown-ups when grandma and grandpa were here." (apparently, they had left a light on in the van)
Jacob: "I don't want to eat this because I just had some last year." (pear slices)
Jacob: "Where's the other glove? Because this one's smudged with yuck!" (an oven mitt to grab something hot out of the microwave)
Sam (to Dad): "I want to order Mom to call the police to come and capture you!"
Sam (to Jacob, after we were encouraging him to thank Sam for retrieving a tennis ball for him): "Oh, come on. You're not shy. You know you love me."
Jacob: "Daddy, I'm going to pick out my undershirts, I'm going to pick out my underwear, and I'm definitely going to pick out my shoes!"
Sam: "But Mom, I'm wakey!" (later) "I'm getting sick. Sick of going to bed."
Jacob: Lets get some ice cream to cold us up!
Jacob: "Guess which one is my favorite...Yep, the eraser, because it's so small and cute."
Sam: "Can we play while we're sleeping?"
Their most used quote from Annie, "(Ms. Hannigan,) you're my kind of woman!"
Jacob: "Bye Dad! I love you! Have a great day! Take a snack!"
Sam: "Can we get wet on the slippy slide?" (slip 'n' slide)
Sam (to Jacob): "You look like a spider web!" (huh?)
Sam: "Now we snuggle and we talk."
Sam: "I NEED to sleep!" (he was right; after Rebecca picked us up it took about 10 seconds for him to fall asleep in his carseat)
Sam (to the AC repairman): "Don't worry. I know how to defeat Zurg."
Sam: "I do whatever God tells me to do. Does he like that?"
Jacob: "I'm four right now, but in a couple days I'm going to be sixty-five. Woo Hoo!"
Jacob: "You can call me 'Jacob Gary Help You Mama'" (after we thanked him for helping with dinner and FHE)
Jacob: "Some animals can't walk so they use cars and dump trucks."
Jacob: "Dad, I'm so glad I live with a family like you."
Sam: "There's a bee on my window!" Mom: "Is it a bee or a fly?" Jacob: "It's a fly. It's ok; flies don't sting, they tickle."
Jacob (pointing to the globe): "This is the planet where we live. All that blue stuff is water- water where God lives. He has a boat."
Jacob: "I just knew I wanted a mom!"
Sam: "I just want you to pick a boy book---like Sleeping Beauty."' (He likes the dragon at the end)
Jacob during a primary activity: "This game is not very organized."
Sam (very assertively): Listen to my constructions {instructions} I WANT FOOD !!"
Jacob (very assertively): "Dad we are gonna make a BIG MESS in here."
Jacob: "Dad, we are making a great team-like the Rescuers!" (the activity: ripping up newspaper and putting it in a pile for Jacob to collect)
Sam (pointing to everything on Aaron's plate): "I like this. I like this. I like this. I like this, too! I like food!"
Sam: "I love you when you come home for a long time Daddy," and more recently, "I love you when you come home early," and "I love you when you're home all day."
Jacob as we are walking into the hospital to have dinner with Aaron: "This is a really big tower where Daddy lives."
Jacob: "I'm hungry. My tummy's asking for some more food."
Jacob: "I need to eat something. I'm really foody."
