How does your garden grow?

Spring is here! Thanks to Marianne (the wonderful neighbor who I gardened with last year), I have some gorgeous tulips and daffodils popping up to welcome spring.

And yes, even the lowly and often overlooked Dandilion gets a spot in my garden! What a sweet little beauty--and such a hardy grower! It's one of the first flowers to brave the end-of-winter frosts and delight us with its sun-like charm.

Jacob plucked a bud off one of tulips before it had opened. After my devastation passed, my curiousity set in. I peeled back the petals and saw this beautiful star shape emerge. Who would know that this is a tulip?!
